PARKLIGHT – IMAGES FROM KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK is the first full high quality photographic book on the landscape of Ireland’s oldest and arguably most beautiful National Park.

The abundance of stunning scenery and ever-changing light throughout the seasons provided a huge amount of material to carefully edit down into this collection of images, showing the park at it’s best.

You can order it from Norman McCloskey’s website!!

Walter Benjamin

Walter Bendix Schönflies Benjamin (15 July 1892 – 26 September 1940) was a German literary critic, philosopher, social critic, translator, radio broadcaster and essayist.

Combining elements of German idealism or Romanticism, historical materialism and Jewish mysticism, Benjamin made enduring and influential contributions to aesthetic theory and Western Marxism, and is associated with the Frankfurt School.

We are proud to present David Peat’s “An Eye on the World” book, published by Watermill Books under the supervision of MRM Graphics.

David’s fascination with photography began in his childhood when his maternal grandmother introduced him to the wonders of the dark room and nurtured his love of black and white photographs.

During the 70’s and 80’s, David’s reputation as a documentary cameraman grew as he worked on a wide variety of subjects for television. He then moved into directing, becoming one of Scotland’s leading documentary film-makers, with many accolades from the UK and the USA to his name, including three BAFTA Scotland ‘Best Documentary’ awards.

Check our last two books printed for Bloomsbury:

Thinking in Film:The politics of Video Installation According to Eija-Liisa Ahtila.
Endless Andness:The politics of Abstraction According to Ann Veronica Janssens.

They are simply great!
